Cuervo, NM - Historic Ghost Town or Renovated into a Vintage Shoppe Town?

On our travels home through New Mexico we pulled over to stretch our legs & eat some lunch.  We discovered a very cool ghost town, and our minds were swirling with visions of potential!  We found out Cuervo was a booming town from 1901-1939 until the freeway was placed right down the center.  The buildings were 'beautiful' with their adobe bricks & tin roofs.  Couldn't you see these buildings renovated into a little tourist town filled with Vintage, Antique & Re-purposed shoppes!?

 So much potential !!
